Casella announces 2 exciting new developments waiting to be explored at its stand at IOSH 10

Casella CEL is proud to announce it will be exhibiting two new product ranges at its stand at IOSH 10, where visitors can view them, try them out and receive help and advice on their use.

First, Casella CEL has expanded its extensive portfolio of workplace noise, dust and vapours monitoring equipment by the signing of a new distributorship agreement for RAE Systems’ world-renowned gas detection monitors.

RAE’s products perfectly complement Casella CEL’s extensive expertise in the field of gas detection with a full range of portable gas detectors for personal monitoring of toxic and flammable gas hazards. Equipment on show at Stand H11, Hall 5 of the IOSH exhibition include the popular ToxiRAE single gas personal detector, the EntryRAE confined space entry monitor, a 4-gas detector that includes a photoionisation detector (PID) to monitor volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and a range of bespoke PIDs, including the MiniRAE, an advanced handheld real-time VOC detector.

Market Manager Tim Turney commented: “Casella CEL’s products for noise and dust detection allow health and safety professionals to monitor an employee’s exposure to compounds that may affect their long term health. The addition of RAE’s products fits perfectly with this philosophy, as we can now offer equipment to protect workers from the immediate safety risk posed by flammable and toxic hazards in the workplace. Casella CEL is also now an approved service centre for RAE’s products, adding to its already comprehensive service capability”.

Second, visitors to the show will also be able to try out Casella’s insight data management software, a single package allowing downloading and exposure data analysis from multiple instruments, and therefore a wide range of occupational hazards. In addition, the software is able to download instruments from Casella CEL’s range including APEX and TUFF™ personal air sampling pumps, the CEL-350 dBadge™ noise dosimeter and the CEL-600 series, the world’s smallest colour screen occupational sound level meter. A new instrument plug-in is also now available for the Microdust Pro real-time dust monitor. “By using Casella insight data management software, customers need only to familiarise themselves with one software package for all of Casella’s products, enabling employees’ potential exposure to noise, dust, and vapours to be reported together,” Turney commented.
