HAVmeter wins Tarmac Best Practice Award!

The MPA Health & Safety Best Practice Awards took place late last year at the prestigious Institute of Civil Engineers in London. With over 211 entries across 8 categories, Tarmac excelled as the winner of the highly regarded ‘Occupational Good Health Award’. The awards aim to highlight the ‘Hard Target of Zero Injuries’ by commending members, such as Tarmac, who demonstrate high levels of determination in achieving a safer workplace.
Tarmac’s implementation of the HAVmeter system established them as an active contributor to the MPA’s 80% reduction in accidents in the last 10 years. With over 200 attendees, including several HSE representatives, the awards provided a great opportunity to convey the value of the HAVmeter system.
Not only does the system offer an accurate and thorough record of vibration exposure, it also allows the employer to monitor tool maintenance and usage. Neither operatives nor employers can tamper with this information, rendering the HAVmeter system a consistent and secure way to protect all members of staff.
With the HAVmeter rapidly expanding across a variety of industries, the practice of good health and safety will undoubtedly follow.
