Why attend?

With 30 conference sessions, over 60 expert speakers and more than 13 hours of unrivalled networking opportunities, the IOSH annual conference is the largest and most comprehensive health and safety conference in the UK.

Building on the success of the IOSH 2011 conference, we’ve continued to innovate and will be offering conference delegates a wide range of added-value activities and sessions throughout the event.

New for IOSH 2012

  • In the dock: live! – All delegates will gather for an interactive, scenario-based plenary session exploring a prosecution under the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Accident investigation track – For the first time, we’re offering a track that offers multiple perspectives on the investigation of a work-related accident
  • ‘In the news’ panel – At this session, you’ll join experts to discuss topics and stories featured in the media shortly before IOSH 2012
  • Even more CoreSkills+ sessions – You’ll have the opportunity to choose to attend 16 workshops for free as part of your conference pass. However, priority will be given to exhibition-only attendees that have booked in advance.

Benefit from continuing professional development opportunities

Every aspect of the conference can be used for CPD, from attending keynote addresses and participating in track sessions, to visiting exhibitors and networking with your peers.  How many credits you award these activities depends on how much they have developed you and this is gauged by reflecting on what you have learnt.

CPD is about recording activities that you undertake which you feel update, maintain or provide you with knowledge. Keep this in mind as you participate in the conference and remember to record these on your electronic CPD scheme.
